                  OBJECTIVES:



   
  1. Use superlatives to discuss options.
  2. Use expressions with go to indicate destination and activities.
  3. Use vocabulary related to eating at ordering food at a restaurant.

      the restaurant is something that has a lot of variety. I think it's quite common, maybe in a  especially, to have food, not only from Colombia but from around the world, so you might be able to get some Thai food or mexicana, Japanese food, but it usually got They are delicious the of food  from colombia. 


d       Definition and short description 
        
      Superlatives:

        el superlativo es un objetivo que indica un grado mas alto de los demás. 
        These adjectives that indicate that something is the best (or the worst) are called superlatives. Here      is how we form them:

       

       Superlatives: 

       More expensive, better, worse are comparative adjectives. 
       Now, when we compare these restaurants with a third restaurant, and this restaurant is way better   than the others, we use a superlative adjective to describe it:

       As you can see, los Primos is much better than the other two restaurants. It is the top option! 

  1.       Prices are the least expensive.
  2.       Its food is the most delicious.
  3.       It has the best service.
EXAMPLE: 

        1. Ending in e:  Nice, Fine, close.
            drop the e and add est: 
  •     the nicest
  •     the finest 
  •     the closest 
        2. Other short adjectives:  Fast, Big - add  est: 
  •     the fastest
  •     the bigets  
       3. Ending in y: Busy, Cozy, Happy. 
  •     the busest 
  •     the cozest 
  •     Happest 

   Longer adjectives.

      Longer adjectives simple take the most: 

  •      Expensive - the most expensive.
  •      Delicious - the most delicious.
  •      Inexpensive  - the most inexpensive.
  •     Reasonable  - the most reasonable.

   Irregular adjectives.
  •      Good - the best 
  •      Bad - the worst.
  •     Far (physical) - the farthest
  •      Far (concepts) - the furthest

     Practice 1:

        1. The Los Primos restaurant is expensive. / FALSE 
        2. Marisol invites Mario to Los Primos. / FALSE
        3. Daniel doesn�t know anything about Venezuelan food. /FALSE
        4. Marisol is impressed by the design and decoration of the restaurant. /TRUE 
        5. The waiter is not very efficient. /FALSE 
        6. Daniel is very familiar with French wines. /FALSE 
        7. Daniel will work at a new job soon. /TRUE 
        8. Marisol is not familiar with Venezuelan food. /TRUE
